At 115 years the Sequim Irrigation Festival is the oldest continuing festival in Washington State. The festival is held in downtown Sequim, located in Clallam County. The 2010 festival will run from May 1st through May 9th, and will have many events for the entire family.

This is a scholarship event to select the royalty that will be the best representatives for Sequim in the Community and accompany the float as it travels around the state.

This is a major fund raising event for the festival as well as the first introduction of the 2010 Royalty, Pioneers, and Grand Marshal. 2010 Festival Pins as well as many donated items are auctioned during this event.

Arts and Crafts Fair with hand-made items from crafters, food, and live entertainment. Many join us each year for crafts, local entertainment and food.

This year the Goldwing Touring Association Motorcycles will be on display with the Classic Car Show at the Arts and Crafts Fair.

We have combined the Kids Day and the Community Picnic to create an event for the entire family: The Festival Family Picnic. Kids Day activities will take place around Guy Cole Center with both inside and outside activities. We have added new activities, including Softball games, a Dog Park Wagathon, Bicycle Poker Run, Square Dancing, and a Barbeque.

Sequim Arts, an organization of over 150 artists living on the Olympic Peninsula, is sponsoring its 34th Annual Fine Arts Exhibit. Entries to this exhibit come from all over the United State, Canada and Australia.

22nd Annual Logging Show includes Truck and Tractor Pull, lawnmower races, early time gas engine display, food, arts and crafts. Fireworks Friday night at 9:30.

This year the Strongman Competition has been moved to the Logging Show venue. International strongman competitors compete in axle lift, arm over arm truck pull, log press, tire flip, stone stack, dead lift and car lift.
