At 118 years the Sequim Irrigation Festival is the oldest continuing festival in Washington State. The festival was held in downtown Sequim, located in Clallam County. The 2013 festival will be from May 3rd through May 12th, and have many events for the entire family. A printable copy of the events is now available.
Saturday, January 26, 2013 Sequim High School Auditorium
This is a scholarship event to select the royalty that will be the best representatives for Sequim in the Community and accompany the float as it travels around the state.
Saturday, March 23, 2013, 7pm Club Seven Room at Seven Cedars Casino
This is a major fund raising event for the festival as well as the first introduction of the 2013 Royalty, Pioneers, and Grand Marshal. 2013 Festival Pins as well as many donated items are auctioned during this event.
Friday, May 3, 2013, 5pm-8pm Downtown Sequim
The First Friday Art Walk Sequim is a fun and free self-guided tour of local art galleries, artist's studios, the Museum and Arts Center, and alternative art venues in Sequim on the First Friday of every month.

2013 will be the 23rd year for the Arts and Crafts Fair, a 2 day event that provides an opportunity for artisans and crafters to display and sell hand-crafted items. Many join us each year for crafts, live local entertainment and food.

Merchants from around Sequim will have booths along Washington Street. Come check out and get to know the local merchants and businesses. There will be raffles, giveaways, demonstrations and more by the businesses and vendors. The 2013 Festival Float will also be available for an up close and personal viewing all day.

We have combined the Kids Day and the Family Picnic to create an event for the entire family. Kids Day activities will take place around Guy Cole Center with both inside and outside activities. There will be lots of activities for the entire family, including Softball games, Dog Park activities, Bicycle Poker Run, Football Camp, Touch-a-Truck and a Barbeque.

The Sequim Open Aire Market will again be present at the Irrigation Festival. What better combination than an age old agricultural celebration and a market for present day farmers and artisans. There will also be hot food, baked goods and more delicious vittles.
