Trashion Show

Trashion Show at the Sequim Irrigation Festival

Saturday, May 1, 2027 · 5:30 pm

Free and open to the public · Designer applications coming soon.

The Doll Challenge and all three Trashion Clash events support the main Trashion Show, a featured event of Crazy Callen Weekend during the Sequim Irrigation Festival.

Create, compete, and give back

These creative challenges are fundraisers for local charities and the Irrigation Festival. They lead to the 2027 Trashion Show on May 1 at the Guy Cole Event Center in Carrie Blake Park.

Bring your imagination and cheer on your favorite participants as discarded materials become runway-worthy fashion.

Doll Challenges — 11 am–1 pm

  • Saturday, December 5, 2026 — Studio Bob, 118 1/2 East Front Street, Port Angeles
  • Saturday, January 16, 2027 — A Stitch in Time, Sequim

Get creative and transform everyday discarded items—plastic packaging, bottle caps, fabric scraps, paper, and more—into one-of-a-kind wearable doll fashions. Let your imagination be your runway!

This hands-on activity is open to kids ages 5–15, whether they are budding fashion designers, passionate about protecting the planet, crafting enthusiasts, or simply looking for a fun, creative activity.

  • Children ages 6 and under should bring a parent to help.
  • Materials are provided on-site, including dolls and crafting supplies. Participants may also bring their own fashion doll.
  • $5 suggested donation.
  • Completed creations may be officially entered in the Doll Challenge category at the Sequim Trashion Show on May 1, 2027.

Trashion Clash group challenges — 10 am–1 pm

For people of all ages. Community groups compete to create high fashion from discarded materials, then showcase their designs in a mini runway show.

A winner is selected for creativity, style, and use of recycled materials, earning a Trashion Trophy and bragging rights.
