A community tradition

Initiated in 2006, First Friday Art Walk Sequim is an encouraging and educational arts event sponsored and produced by Renne Emiko Brock. Its mission is to create approachable, accessible art and cultural venues that foster connection while celebrating expression and diversity.

The Art Walk builds cultural vitality that strengthens the local economy and quality of life. By supporting artists, educators, and cultural institutions, a thriving arts community benefits local businesses and helps position Sequim as a destination for creative pursuits and products.

May’s AQUA theme

Inspired by the Sequim Irrigation Festival’s “Where Water Is Wealth” theme, the May 7 Art Walk features an AQUA color theme celebrating cultivation and culture. Art and music inspired by natural resources, creativity, positive partnerships, and innovative ideas will be showcased throughout the evening.

Monthly color themes

Monthly color themes are a fun community activity: January silver, February red, March green, April pink, May aqua, June white, July purple, August yellow, September blue, October orange, November brown, and December gold.
