Sequim Irrigation Festival

Every year the Sequim Irrigation Festival Royalty do some community service projects that are of interest to them.  In 2007 Amanda Cerutti wanted to do the Relay for Life as her project in honor of Janaye Birkland’s mother, Marie Angier.  The royalty, their families, and members of the Irrigation Festival Committee participated.  In 2008, the Irrigation Festival Royalty wanted to participate in this worthwhile cause again.  In both 2007 and 2008 the festival team has won the People’s Choice Award.  This award is displayed at the Sequim-Dungeness Visitor Information Center.
