Festival Events This Weekend

The final weekend of the festival is fast approaching and there are lots of events taking place.

Sequim Arts Juried Art Show: This is the 34th Sequim Juried Arts Show that has art from all over the country and world. It takes place May 6th through May 9th at St. Lukes Episcopal Church Parish Hall.

Carnival: The Funtastic Carnival starts on Thursday night at 5pm at the Sequim High School Green Field. Thursday is discount coupon night and those are available around town. The carnival continues Friday night from 5pm to 9pm. and Saturday from noon to 5pm.

Logging Show: The 22nd Annual Logging Show starts on Friday night with lots of activities. The Chainsaw Carvers start creating their art Friday afternoon. The truck and tractor pull will also begin Friday evening.

Strongman Competition: The Strongman Competition is from 6pm to 8pm at the Logging Show arena. Join these world renown competitors for their annual competition.

Logger's Ball: The Loggers Ball with 3 bands will begin following the Strongman Competition. The U.S. Army Band, "Washington Chapter of The Old Time Fiddlers", and "Robbie Walden and the Gunslingers"will be playing until 11:30pm. They will break for the fireworks at about 9:30pm.

Fireworks: This year promises to be a great year for fireworks again. They will begin at about 9:30 pm.

Motorcycle Stunt Show: This show will begin at about 8:30pm. Tyler Moore of the World Champion Auto Daredevils will be performing.

Kids Parade: The Kids Parade now takes place on Parade day. It starts at 10am on Washington Street and goes from 2nd Avenue to 4th Avenue.

Lo-co-Motion Car Cruzz: See cars from classic to modern in the Car Cruzz that begins at 11am. It starts at Evergreen Collision and continues on Washington Street to 7th Avenue.

Grand Parade: The Grand Parade begins at Noon at Key Bank and continues on Washington Street to 7th. Come see one of the best parades in the state with over 100 entries and bands and floats from around Washington.

Lo-co-Motion Car Show n Shine: You can see the cars up close at the WalMart Parking lot from Noon to 5pm.

Logging Show: The Logging Show starts at 10am on Saturday with Chainsaw Carvers, Lawnmower Races, Truck and Tractor Pull, Petting Zoo, and lots of activities fo the entire family. The main events of the 22nd Annual Logging Show start at about 2pm, following the parade.
