Sequim Irrigation Festival

The first weekend is behind us and lots of events are yet to happen. This week check out the following events:

Sequim Arts Juried Art Show: This is the 34th Sequim Juried Arts Show that has art from all over the country and world. It takes place May 6th through May 9th at St. Lukes Episcopal Church Parish Hall.

Carnival: The Funtastic Carnival starts on Thursday night at 5pm at the Sequim High School Green Field. Thursday is discount coupon night and those are available around town. The carnival continues Friday night from 5pm to 9pm. and Saturday from noon to 5pm.

Crazy Daze Breakfast: You will see businesses and people around town dressing and being crazy at the Crazy Daze Breakfast on Friday, May 7th at 7am at the Sequim Elks. This breakfast is in honor of D.R. "Crazy" Callen who came up with the idea for the irrigation ditches in 1895. Also, come see the Irrigation Festival Committee do a song in the spirt of this year's theme "115 Years of Pioneers".

First Friday Art Walk Sequim: The art walk takes place in downtown Sequim from 5pm to 8pm on Friday night. It is a great chance to see local artists. The theme for this month is "Inspired by Nature and Innovation" in honor of the Irrigation Festival.
