2015 Pioneers and Grand Marshals Announced

The Sequim Pioneer Association has announced the selection of the 2015 Grand and Honorary Pioneers for the 120th Sequim Irrigation Festival. Grand Pioneers are Art Rogers and Helen Bucher. The Honorary Pioneers are Jeff Shold and Margie Russell-Lester. The pioneers will be recognized at multiple events before and during the festival.

The Irrigation Festival Committee has selected Joe and Tawana Borden as the Grand Marshals for the 2015 Irrigation Festival. They were involved with the festival for many years as well as working as volunteers for many other organizations in the community.

Pictures and biographies will be available in late-February to early March.

2015 Grand Parade Applications Available

The Sequim Irrigation Festival Grand Parade draws entries from Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap counties and beyond. This is truly a community parade.

2015 Button Design Contest

The button design contest for 2015 is now underway. This contest is open to elementary school age students (1st through 5th grade) within the Sequim school district boundaries.

Each year the Irrigation Festival holds a contest for the design for the next year's festival button. The selected logo will be used on 2015 festival buttons that will be sold by area 5th graders in late March.

The button design contest is just getting started and all entries will be due by January 26th. The theme is "120 Fun A Plenty - Sequim is Your Playground".  More information about the guidelines, rules and prizes are listed in the following link. 2015 Button Contest Information
