Sequim Irrigation Dude (SID) is the Irrigation Festival's Logo. This logo was selected in 2008 to be the logo that represents the Irrigation Festival from year to year. The Festival Committee felt it was important to have an image that people can relate to from year to year, and felt that SID epitomizes the Irrigation Festival origins, where farmers irrigated the land to be able to grow crops.
The Irrigation Festival will continue to have a design contest and select a logo for each year that conveys the theme for the year. The design contest for the 2009 logo has just started, and designs that convey the 2009 theme of "Sequim - A Magical Place" can be submitted.
