Friday-Saturday, May 9-10, 2008
The Logging Show started in 1988 when the Annual Sequim Irrigation Demolition Derby ended. Lifelong residents, Kevin Kennedy and Dave Bekkevar, came up with the idea to have a major event that consisted of traditional contests played by loggers.
Now in its 20th year, the Logging Show has grown to be a spectacular event that people from all over the Northwest look forward to attending. The show is rated as best 1 day long show in the Northwest and is entertaining folks of all ages.
Friday Night - Fireworks Display
While most of the logging show is on Saturday, the chainsaw carvers started Friday afternoon and the Tractor Pull followed into the evening. In celebration of the 20th Anniversary, there was a Fireworks Display Friday night.
