Friday, May 11, 2012, 5pm - 10pm The Logging Show started in 1988 when the Annual Sequim Irrigation Demolition Derby ended. Lifelong residents, Kevin Kennedy and Dave Bekkevar, came up with the idea to have a major event that consisted of traditional contests played by loggers. Now in its 24th year, the Logging Show has grown to be a spectacular event that people from all over the Northwest look forward to attending. The show is rated as best 1 day long show in the Northwest and is entertaining folks of all ages. The events and times are still being finalized, but the tentative schedule is as follows:
Friday Activities, 5pm - 11:30pmLogging Show, 5pm - 10pmWhile most of the logging show is on Saturday, the chainsaw carvers starts Friday afternoon and the Tractor Pull, and Mud Buggiesl follow into the evening. Strongman Competition, 6pm - 8pmThe Strongman Competition takes place at the Logging Show venue. You can check out more details of the competition at the Strongman Competition. Friday Night - Fireworks Display, 9:30pmThe Fireworks were such a hit last year that we are bringing them back. Enjoy this spectacular show that this year will combine synchronized music with the fireworks. Saturday - Logging Show, 10am - 5pm
