Last year's carnival was a huge success and we are planning for a great one this year as well. We will again be using the arm band system for rides. Arm band tickets are now on sale. When you purchase an armband ticket, you will be able to redeem it for the armband any day of the carnival. The armbands are available at Key Bank in both Port Angeles and Sequim, Sound Community Bank in Sequim, Chamber of Commerce Visitor Information Center and Pacific Mist Books in Sequim. They will be on pre-sale until noon Thursday, May 9th. The armbands will also be on sale at the Carnival. The pre-sale armbands are $20, the cost of the armbands at the carnival is $25. Traveling carnivals are an American tradition... But the Davis Carnival is unique within that tradition, they work closely with the Irrigation Festival to make certain people know that they’re being invited to one of the safest, cleanest, and finest carnivals that ever traveled the west. Davis's professional management team put their philosophy to work when it helps coordinate local advertising and marketing, letting the community know about seasonal employment opportunities that put dollars into the local economy, about the wide variety of rides and games offered, about the safety record, and about the flat out FUN that awaits everyone at a Davis carnival! By "taking the cleanliness and stability of the amusement park and putting it on the road," Davis is "Just possibly... the world’s finest carnival. The most important fact the community should know about this wonderful carnival is that it shares some of the profits directly with the Irrigation Festival. 2012 is the second year for the Davis Carnival, but they will carry on the tradition of donating many of the proceeds to the Irrigation Festival.
