Sitting on the curb watching the parade, Fallon was in awe of the princesses and royalty going by. “They were so magical and elegant, and they waved right back at you and made you feel special.” She is very excited to have the opportunity to be a role model to young kids.

Fallon Schneider is the 17 year old daughter of Kim Schneider. She was born in Sequim and with the exception of one year, has lived here her whole life.

As part of the Shiso City exchange program, Fallon had the opportunity to go to Japan in her freshman year. This adventure “changed her life”. It exposed her to a different culture and gave her the travel bug. Because of those experiences she is very interested in anthropology and learning about human origin and how people interact. She plans someday to work at the United Nations, which will allow her to fulfill her goal of working in international relations and traveling.

Fallon is very passionate about music and plays many instruments including, B Flat Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Contra Bass Clarinet and the piano. She plays in the Sequim High School’s Wind Ensemble and was chosen to be a member of the WMEA All-State Band.

Fallon is an endurance runner and participates with the cross country team in the fall. She also enjoys playing tennis and hiking.

As President of the Interact Club, an extension of the Sequim Rotary, she is working this year to raise money for a shelter box. Fallon is a member of the Honor Society, which in addition to maintaining a high GPA, does volunteer work in the community. As a member of the Women in Networking program, she participates with the Soroptimist Club to help women of all ages build confidence and team-working skills, look at nontraditional careers and work towards empowering women. During the summers Fallon works as a program aide for the Sequim Girl Scout Day Camp, where she gets involved with teaching songs, crafts and other skills to the girls at the camp.
